J: just the right sparkling note for summer meals

The other night at my step-daughter and soon to be son-in-law’s home in San Rafael, California we had a bit of the bubbly before going to dinner. The ‘soon to be’ loves his champagne, and really isn’t at all a wine drinker otherwise.

The nights offering was the J Cuvee 20 Brut, and it was very nice indeed. It’s from the Russian River valley and comes in at about $20 a bottle.
