    Barbeque basics and tips

    Although it’s going to be cool and blustery here in Reno this weekend, I was out in the backyard the other day ( spring yard cleanup) - eyeing my BBQ. It’s been so lonely all winter. I was thinking how great a brisket would be, cooked slowly and basted carefully.

    Summer is just around the corner, so take your BBQ out and get it cleaned up, too.

    How to grill corn on the cob

    You might also want to consider a few additions that can take average corn up a notch: adding chipotle powder, lime juice, garlic, seasoned sea salts ( especially smoked ), fresh herbs, sliced onions, compound butters or olive oil instead of the butter.
