Sue Lowden lies about Reid and abortion

This was where I was directed to by an intriguing little banner ad whilst browsing the latest crazy on the Fox News website.

It’s by Sue Lowden, wannabe replacement for Harry Reid, from Nevada.

If you weren’t too smart or politically sophisticated - which describes your average Tea Bagger - you might actually get the impression that Harry Reid - a Mormon - actually wants YOU to fund abortion.

This is a cynical, cheesy attempt to spin the truth - another thing that easily describes Republicans and Tea Baggers.

Go on Sue Lowden’s website and suggest she knock this off.

The ‘truth’ being that nonsensical stupid Stupak Amendment that GOP obstructionists threw into the  healthcare reform bill. It didn’t need to be there. There were already restrictions on how and if federal dollars could be used to fund abortion (the Hyde Amendment) - without any help or hinderance by Harry Reid.

This sort of thing ranks right up there with the Birthers and those questioning everything about Obama’s right to hold U.S. citizenship - not to mention the office of the president.

This could derail health care reform. Actually, I think the entire Stupak ploy is just that, less about his concern for abortion funding but linking it to the health care bill knowing that the rank and file will get their knickers in a twist and defeat the thing over that.

This stinks.

It’s a blatant distortion of the facts. But that’s what the GOP feeds on.

It’s up to Dems and rational GOP’ers - if there are any left - to put a stop to this. It’s destroying out Democracy.
