Undersink bathroom storage options
Thursday, October 29, 2009 at 21:11 There’s actually some fairly cool and highly functional items out on the market today, that I added as the real finishing touches on our bath remodels. The undersink areas were always a source of annoyance. Everything seemed to get tossed in and you’d have to dig it out later … cleaning supplies, the watering can, plant food, rags, extra mouthwash. Whatever.
Perhaps I have small dreams, but this does it for me:

The double rack is expandable across the width of the cabinet, and you can remove sections of the mesh surface to allow for the pipes.
The simple over the door basket is a total no-brainer that I put on each and every bath cabinet door for the essential items that would be cluttering up the countertop.
Here was the real stroke of genius: installing a paper towel dispenser under there for cleaning, and a plastic bin for the cleaning supplies that you simply pull out and have all of it there and handy. I store a few old towels and rags for those inevitable times you got to mop the floor. Oooops.
The devil is in the details, and I just nailed him.
I found this great stuff at the local Bed, Bath & Beyond and I’d give you the links except they don’t even feature them on their website. Duh.
However, I did find this other great website - cabinetaccessoriesunlimited - where I will be getting some chrome wire wall mount baskets for the showers … corner mounted baskets that really save space and organize a cluttered collection of soaps, shampoos and such.
I wish I’d known about this site a long time ago. I think there’s some great ideas for my kitchen there, too.
