Help send a message before Nevada legislature convenes!

On Saturday so many of us went to legislative hearings in Las Vegas and Reno that they ran out of tickets to testify just after the meetings started.

We know 1,400 of you came out to tell lawmakers how the governor’s budget impacts you. And we know they only got to hear from about 250 of us.

Thankfully, we’ve got a way for to add your voice to the official record.

Now’s the chance to be the most important lobbyist lawmakers hear. Take action today to tell your story and make sure the legislators hear from real Nevadans.

We’ve got the one-stop tools to get your message heard. Write as little or as much as you want, or choose our suggested language. It’s critical we get as many of these comments to Carson City as possible.

We’ve only got one week before the session starts and Gov. Jones Vargas and his business lobbyist friends try to take over the discussion. And we’ve only got one week to give our official comments on the budget.

Take action today! Help us send 630 messages – that’s 10 for each legislator.

We may be outspent 10-to-1, but we can still make sure lawmakers hear from the people that matter most.

If you were able to testify Saturday, thank you. Please help forward this message to a friend who didn’t have the chance.

For those who didn’t come Saturday, here’s your chance to tell lawmakers how the cuts would impact you. We’ve only got until Feb. 7 to get the comments in.

Take action today and help us send 630 messages to the Legislature.

Only you can tell your story. And it’s your story that could make the difference between a budget balanced on the backs of those who can least afford it, or a balanced solution that moves Nevada forward.
