Obama's speech to school kids

Well, here’s another good thing that the right wingnuts have hijacked and made bad. The president talking to school children, to encourage them to stay in school, work hard and achieve. How blatantly evil and partisan can Obama get?

When Mr. Maven was growing up, back in the 1930’s -1940’s it would have been a rare and wonderful thing to have the president - then Franklin Delano Roosevelt - speak to school children. It would have been a really big deal. Kids would have been sent to school dressed up for such an important event, and told to listen carefully.
