A message from god re: the 'mosque' that ain't at Ground Zero
Sunday, August 22, 2010 at 20:27 I love Ken Watts blog, The Daily Mull. It’s far more insightful and thoughtful than I could ever be, I fear. But it’s something I’d love to try living up to.
I had to pass this one along, about the nonsensical ‘arguments’ about the so-called mosque (it’s actually a large community center in every sense of those words), which is located two blocks from Ground Zero, within a few blocks of the current mosque.
Read what ‘god’ has to say about it all :
ONE OF THE REASONS THAT I was reluctant to take on this whole blogging thing, when Ken first started nagging me about it, was that I’ve done this kind of thing before.
Not a blog, exactly—and not in this universe—but I do have enough experience along parallel lines to know that eventually it gets me drawn into local politics.
I generally try to stay above all that.
But sometimes my tolerance for sheer stupidity and for fundamental dishonesty just runs thin.
So I’m going to step in, and point a few things out:
ground zero,
ken watts,
mosque,
park51 project,
the daily mull in
belief,
purely maven
