Friday Fish Wrap: October 2, 2009
Friday, October 2, 2009 at 20:44 Today was a very long day at work but it presented the opportunity to put a very nice ending to the week, tromping around in the Martis Meadows area near Truckee, California with a couple of environmental technicians from our office, doing water quality sampling, flow rates and the like.
It was a picture perfect autumn days in the Sierras, coolish in the shade but delightfully warm in the sunshine. It reminded me of my more wistful moments when I’d wished that I’d gotten into some ‘outdoorsy’ line of work.
