DropBox: A better way of sending, synching large files

We’ve been dealing with a lot of large files at work, brochures in pdf, ppt’s and the like. The other day we thought we’d have to run a disc over to the printer with a huge graphics rich brochure file that we’d done some changes to…. ugh.

I suggested using DropSend, which I’d used successfully during a project about a year ago where I was sending enormous ppt files. It had it’s limitations though.

The face of my tech savvy young friend in the office lit up and he says, “DropBox”.

He’s right. It’s way better than any of the other large file sharing software out there, and the low end user gets you 2GB of service for free as with DropSend.
