ARC GIS Imagery for DeepWater Horizon response

Get accurate information on progress of BP’s nasty environmental ‘gift’  to our pristine coastlines and endangered wetlands from the SERT GATOR, using ESRI’s ARC GIS imagery.

Use the toolbox:

Play with the line and polygon drawing tools on the lower right hand part of the screen to access various layers of information, such as the following which shows areas of environmental sensitivity (in bright red):

You can turn the ‘information layers’ on and off in the Live Maps menu, to help refine the layers of information accessed.
