Peapod NEV is almost here

NEV stands for Neighborhood Electric Vehicle, and Peapod is already taking names for their waiting list. The cute little runabout seats four and is a totally electric vehicle that you just plug in a night. It does about 25 mph - which is generally faster than my bike and certainly carries a few more groceries during all sorts of weather. The range is about 30 miles, which ain’t so bad, when you consider that most of our trips are under ten miles.
