The latest in gee-whiz sunglasses
Thursday, December 9, 2010 at 21:47 Now you don’t see them. Now you do? Mr. Maven came dashing into my ‘office’ from his latest adventure in the magical gee-whiz land of Eyeglass Gallery/Adlington Eye Center, to show me his new ‘sunglasses’. Fitted by the inventor, no less.
It was a “Hey! Check this out!” moment.
Was I impressed?

Hmmm. Okay. No sunglasses here.

Click.
Presto! Change-o! Flick of the wrist and we have sunglasses!
Right on his very same pair fancy schmancy J.F. Rey’s.
What’s the secret?
It’s that teeny tiny super-duper powerful magnet in the outboard upper corner of each lens.
The sunglasses fit into an ultra slim carrying case that easily fits into your shirt pocket or man bag. No more switching pairs of glasses and fumbling through cases.
Okay. I’m seriously impressed. Hmmmm. A pair of these for my J. F. Rey’s might be just the thing. Then I can leave the Maui Jim’s - in their huge hard case - in the ski boot bag.
Price: Much less than a new pair of prescription sunglasses and they perfectly match your existing regular pair. Uh, the also don’t look like the old dorky clip-ons.
